List of Asian currencies

There is no dominant national currency in this part of the world, every country uses its own money for internal payments and local commerce. But the widely spread are the Chinese yuan and the Indian rupee, being in circulation in the two largest nations of Asia.

For the international banking payments and trade operations the widely used are the Japanese yen and the Chinese yuan, and these two, along with the Hong Kong dollar and the Singapore dollar, are ranked in the top 10 of the most-traded currencies in the forex global market.
